Our owner, Thomas C. Solich, earned a degree in piano performance with Robert Mayerovitch at the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio after completing more than 10 years of private study with Nicolas Constantinidis prior to college.  In 2010, Solich Piano & Music Company is the fastest growing piano dealership in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. This may be attributed to our firm commitment to music education and to providing quality pianos in every price range. It is extremely rare to find a piano retailer who is owned and operated by a concert pianist with extensive knowledge about the latest in acoustic and digital piano technology.

At least once every two years, Mr. Solich flies from North-East Ohio to Southern California in January and plays literally every piano made in the world. Blind since birth, he rates each instrument according to its tone, touch and overall appeal using only his ears and his fingers to guide him. This qualifies him to hand-select the finest brands in the world to offer each customer at every respective price point.
